Company History

Precision Air Refrigeration has been a family owned and operated company since 1992. Established by Dave and Judi Ross, founded on the principle that our clients are our neighbors and friends, so they deserve to be treated with not only professional and efficient service on their equipment but as a member of the Precision Air family.

In 2012 and 2014 Dave and Judi’s sons, Nick and John, joined the company after their respective graduations in the HVACR field where they completed both OSHA and EPA certifications, equipped with the knowledge from their education, and the continuing mentor ship of Dave’s 30+ years of experience, they have become irreplaceable members of our great team.

Precision Air Refrigeration is fully licensed and insured. We attend factory training seminars every year on the newest technology and latest advancements in the refrigeration industry. All of this helps us work towards our goal of providing you with the best refrigeration services, while giving you and your business the personal attention that only our family owned business can.

When we bought our country convenience store over 10 years ago, the equipment was on it’s last legs. Precision Air helped us keep it all alive until our planned buildout when new equipment was installed. Throughout our 10 year relationship, they have been patient, courteous, professional - basically really, really good people. The reality is that when refrigeration goes down, you need someone who responds when they say they will - someone you can trust. Being in business nowadays is challenging, to say the least. When I come across a vendor/parter who I can rely on and trust - I hang on to them. Precision Air is one of our most valued partners. Whether your needs are equipment service, new equipment planning, acquisition and installs - do yourself a favor and make Precision Air your go-to refrigeration experts.

Always have great service with Precision Air. Very honest and trustworthy. Dave will always do whatever it takes to get you up and running at a price that will keep you above water.

If you ask for their honest opinion, they will give you their honest opinion. They don’t look at the dollar signs or how hard the work is, they just do what is right for the customer. It’s always a pain when a unit breaks, but at least getting the right service isn’t a part of that pain. They are the only company that I have had that is always out the same day for repairs that are emergencies. It doesn’t matter what time it is, if you have something that just broke down and you have food in it, they WILL be there relatively quickly. This will be the last company you call, I guarantee that.

I own a restaurant in downtown Lowell. I got tired of my old refrigeration guy, so I decided to try a new company, and figured Precision Air might be a good fit. The response time was great. Technicians seemed to really know what they were doing, and legitimately cared about my situation. The respect from the technicians and the secretary on the phone was very professional. My walk-in went down, and they came, and had to add gas. A few months later, it happened again. They came right down, charged it up, and we were going to schedule a leak test in a few weeks. Apparently the leak got bigger, and it went down that weekend. I called Precision Air, and they sent someone right out and he went through the whole system and repaired 4 leaks. He found a leak on the evaporator and told me he would attempt to fix it, but most of the time it doesn’t work out, and you need to replace it. Well, I guess he did a pretty good job because it’s been about 6 months. I can’t tell you enough about how great it is to have a family company who doesn’t treat you like a “number”. They legitimately care about your needs and will do anything they can to help you out. It’s not often that you see the Boss man himself coming to your restaurant to make sure something gets repaired correctly, but that’s how Dave is. I highly recommend this company.
